Mpatis, P. Faliro – Niarchos Kostas

Niarchos Kostas born in Paleo Heraklion, Attica, graduated from the School of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. He studied at the same time with Th. Drossos, G. G. Kouzounis, Paul Pavlidis, John Blockley. He also holds a Master of Science in Management from TROY STATE UNIVERSITY ALABAMA USA.

He has published many cartoons in the magazines SATIRA, ROMANTZO, THEATES, FANTASY, PROSTO and in the newspaper ATHLITIKI IHO.
As a cartoonist – illustrator, he published numerous sketches and cartoons in the magazines SATIRA, THEATES, PROTO, THESAYROS, TRUST OF THE GEL, ROMANJO and in the newspapers SPORTS EXO, SIMERINA, KATHIMERINI, PONTIKI.
He illustrated children’s, literary and chess books. He has been teaching for 20 years (free drawing, colour practice, animation, sketching, cartooning, illustration in colleges and IEK)

He has participated in many exhibitions of painting and cartooning (World Exhibition of Cartooning, Cultural Centre of Kifissia 1976, ORA Gallery 1972, DESMOS Gallery, Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Athens, Municipality of Nice, etc.)

He published in 1972 the book OUR LIFE IS CHESS with caricatures and cartoons on the subject of chess. The book was a great success in Greece, Yugoslavia (1972 Skopje Chess Olympiad), France-Nice 1976, Netherlands Hoogoven, Japan etc.)
